Blog Stuff

I'm in one of my typical blogging postures - parked outside a Starbucks, with a fresh Peet's coffee. Peet's doesn't offer wireless but I can get it here in the Starbucks parking lot. It has been a busy time at the pesky day job, and the cold is still going on, both of which have been keeping me from blogging much here, and I'm looking for people interested in sharing this blog. Let me know if you love coffee, tea, dark chocolate and are intereted.

Meanwhile I tried a special Ghiradelli dark chocolate the other day -- that I can't find on their website! I'm pretty sure it was a 72% cocoa bar, that I got at a local specialty shop. It was very, very good.

So, darn it, I'm ging to have to go back to the same place and buy another bar to taste so I can write about it here! The trouble I go to!

Sharing? I'm all about sharing. And I love all of the above. Email me. Let's tawk.

I love coffee, dark chocolate and dogs...but especially especially chocolate. I'd be interested.

I think you should research that dark chocolate very carefully for us, comparing it to other dark chocolates. After all, the medical profession has finally concluded that dark chocolate is good for us! We're all waiting for your expert opinion on this important matter. Which one should we rush out and buy?

I like Paul Newman's sweet dark chocolate bars & his sweet dark expresso dark chocolate! One of my sons & his girlfriend from Germany have given us Lindt chocolate bars: 70, 85, & 99% cacao...awesome with wine! Also Lindt Hauchdunne Tafelchen, thin chocolate wafers. I only make hot chocolate with Ghiradelli unsweetened cocoa with just a little sugar...I'd love to hear some recommendations of other brands of cocoa. How can anyone not be addicted to coffee & chocolate?!?!? That first cup in the am makes getting up for work bearable.

Have you tried the single-origin bars from Scharffen Berger? Yum.

Also, Scharffen Berger has a limited-edition "Jamaica all'ancienne" bar out - cacao beans ground and "melanged" by hand, with whole vanilla beans and sugar. That's it. So good.
